CSB Personnel Update - October 2007

October 25, 2007 1 comment

The Canadian Staff Band is pleased to welcome Cameron Rawlins into the band on first baritone. His appointment will not only strengthen this section but also give the band an exceptional vocal soloist who will contribute greatly to the band’s ongoing ministry.

Cameron is the grandson of CSB alumnus Art Dean and Colonel Kenneth Rawlins, a former territorial music secretary for Canada and Bermuda. He attends The Salvation Army Northridge Community Church in Newmarket, Ontario, where he is extensively involved in musical leadership. A fourth-year student at the University of Toronto, Cameron is currently studying euphonium with CSB alumnus Curtis Metcalf. He is a member of the Ontario Central-East Divisional Youth Band and Chorus and also plays with the University of Toronto Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra.
