The Canadian Staff Band is pleased to welcome Sherie Keogh into the band on solo cornet. Sherie attends Mountain Citadel Corps in Hamilton, where she plays in the senior band and helps out with the junior band. Of interest is the fact that Sherie is the sister of current CSB member Nicole Downer, making this the first time two sisters have served in the Canadian Staff Band together.
The CSB was grateful to have Sherie helping us during our recent weekend visit to Meadowlands Corps, as well as playing on our recent recording, Corpus Christi, due out later this year. We're happy to now welcome her as a full-time member and look forward to her contributions in the days to come.
