On Wednesday, June 3, the CSB was privileged to have two visitors from the German Staff Band sit in our weekly rehearsal. Rudi and Doris Vitzthum were present for the band's 40th anniversary festival on May 31 and were invited to join us on trombone and horn respectively as we ran through various items in preparation for our upcoming visit to Simcoe. Staff bands throughout the Salvation Army world enjoy a unique fellowship as we share in this unique ministry beyond the commitment of participating in our own corps bands from week to week. We pray God's blessing on Rudi and Doris and all members of the German Staff Band as they continue to serve Christ in days to come.
